Our Services
Regular optometry
Including single vision spectacles, bifocal spectacles and multifocal spectacles.
Contact Lens Fittings
All types of contact lens prescription, supply and fitting.
Paediatric Ocular Assessments
We carry out the clinical evaluation of infants and toddlers to identify and treat any problems with their visual acuity.
Cycloplegic refractions
We determine a person's complete refractive error by temporarily relaxing the muscles that aid in focusing the eye. This is a crucial step in assessing the possibility and severity of a patient's squint, particularly in children.
Binocular vision assessments
We are able to assess how well your eyes work together as a team. An anomaly in this would affect things like depth perception, eye tracking (for example, in sports, reading and computer work), and visual perception.
Rigid Gas Permeable Contact Lens Fittings
Both for regular corneas and for irregular / diseased corneas, (like keratoconus or pellucid marginal degeneration), or post-corneal transplant corneas.
Scleral Contact Lenses
Scleral lenses functionally replace the irregular cornea with a perfectly smooth optical surface to correct vision problems caused by corneal irregularities.
Hybrid Contact Lens Fittings
Specialized lenses which provide the visual clarity of standard lenses, combined with wearing comfort that is comparable to soft lenses.
Neonatal Contact Lenses Fittings
Specialized Contact Lens Fittings for children under the age of 4 years. This niche service is only performed by a handful of optical professionals in South Africa.
Geriatric Optometry
We offer Low vision services such as Magnifyers, Electronic vision aids, Low vision tools & techniques as well as Bioptic telescope spectacles.

The specialized and specific treatments to slow the progression of nearsightedness in children and young adults.
Amblyopia Therapy or Lazy Eye Therapy.
We are able to identify, diagnose and treat patients suffering with Amblyopia, through a range of therapeutic modalities.
Ocular Coherence Tomography
This non-invasive imaging test often enables us to detect retinal and macular problems in the eye which are too small to be seen with the naked eye. It is not available in most optometrists and is an invaluable tool. It is not available at most optometric practices
School Vision Screening Days
We carry out large volume eye screenings for large groups, such as schools, orphanages etc.
Eye Pathology Testing
We make use of Visual Field Screeners for glaucoma detection and monitoring as well as Corneal Topographies for early detection and monitoring of corneal pathologies. OCT is also a valuable tool in helping us here.
Diabetic Retinopathy Monitoring
We monitor the effects of diabetes on a patient’s eyes with accurate retinal photography and educate people around Diabetes and its ocular complications.
On-Site Spectacle Lens Labs
We are able to manufacture a wide range of spectacles on site, delivering new spectacles to our patients within an hour. We also are able to produce compressed plastic lenses, which are signifcantly thinner than standard lenses.
Optical Dispensing Specialists
Our Optical Dispensers are qualified in the precise manufacturing and fitting of spectacle lenses. Specialists in Optics, we can advise on proper frame choices, lens coatings, refractive indices and more.
Dry-Eye Treatments
We are able to specifically diagnose and treat an array of Dry-Eye conditions. Treatments are tailored specifically to the nature of the patient’s condition, which is mapped through use of our specialized testing equipment.
Orthokeratology Treatment
A specialized contact lens to treat specific corneal conditions and vision defects. This lens is worn during sleep, moulding the cornea to your prescription during rest. When you the take the lens off….you can see without your contact lenses during the day. This is also a useful tool for myopia control in children.
